The GAWDA Southeast Regional Conference concluded with outstanding success, bringing together an incredible group of professionals from the Industrial Gas Industry. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

More than 170 participants enjoyed the vibrant city of Greenville, SC, experiencing exceptional venues, outstanding cuisine, and engaging activities. Highlights included the breathtaking views from a trending rooftop at the AC Hotels by Marriott of Downtown Greenville, the challenging Golf Course of The Preserve Golf Club, and the adrenaline-pumping experience of driving high-performance vehicles on five demanding tracks at the BMW Performance Center. Congratulations to Chad Brandenburg from American Welding & Gas, Nicolas Arvelo from EQUIGAS, Inc., and Joshua LeConey from STARRETT in winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

The event featured rich and insightful content from an impressive lineup of speakers. Colleen Kohler, MBA from Noble Gas Solutions provided a comprehensive GAWDA update, followed by an impactful session on Disaster Recovery led by Robert Anders from Holston Gases, INC, Luke Balderson from Arc3 Gases and Nicholas Lovin from ANDY OXY, who spoke from the bottom of their hearts, sharing the horrific experience of Storm Helene in western North Carolina.
Technology was another key focus, with Hector Villarreal from Weldcoa, Co-Chair of GAWDA’s Technology Committee, delivering valuable insights on cybersecurity, website optimization, and AI advancements. The conference concluded with an inspiring session on company culture by Jack Butler from Butler Gas Products Company who shared his passion for the industry and emphasized the vital role of company culture in organizational success.
